Well it is definitely Winter and the shortest day of the Year has passed.
So with nearly half of the year over, and hopefully we remain Covid free to keep NZ Business and Tourism up and running, I am sure that you are planning on some Winter Holidays away somewhere special. School Holidays in July is an opportunity to try and get away to support local tourism and explore what NZ has to offer.
I grew up in a big family of 7 children and Mum and Dad always packed the car and took us away in the Winter School Holidays. Trips to Rotorua and Taupo and to visit our cousins. Those trips from my childhood are memories I still treasure today.
Where will you head in New Zealand this Winter?
It might be a visit a family bach, a trip away in the car to see relatives or exploring some snow and hopefully some hot pools. I kept all the NZ seasons in mind when I designed the Myhoody brand.
Lately I have been wearing Myhoody over my tights and a merino to keep warm. The Microfibre fabric is very thermal, a bit like a fleecy hoodie!
When we visit our local Hot pools we pop our togs on and wear our Myhoody down to the pools. It saves time using it as a change robe and a towel and its easy to slip on and off for a swim at the pools.
If you love winter fishing it can be warm to wear on a fishing trip and I wear my LifeJacket over Myhoody.
Imagine also wearing it to snuggle up in on the couch on a cold winters day to watch some Netflix, a bit like a long winter hoodie.
Remember to pack a hoodie for play, adventure, travel, poolside, boating and to keep warm.
Go Exploring – See NZ and we hope you can try and support a local business.
So wishing you all a safe July School Holidays exploring our beautiful country in Winter and we look forward to seeing some of your Winter pictures
